Osho Enlightened Disciples and Sannyasins???

Closing of Rajneeshpuram commune was a big setback for all of us. 5 Years of effort and hard work put into the commune got lost. Many Sannyasins become homeless and they have to start their life all over again. This was not the only setback for us, Damage done to Bhagwan body by poisoning lead to His sudden and unexpected death.

Many Sannyasins found it difficult to face the real world without Osho and His Guidance. Many of the Osho Sannyasins who were seeking and still needed guidance started going to other spiritual Guru's and lot of Sannyasins went to Ramana Maharshi disciple "Poonjaji" also known as Papaji. I seriously doubt whether Poonjaji was enlightened.

Another effect of Osho's sudden death was that many of His sannyasins started claiming themselves to be enlightened and at present there are more than 50 so called enlightened disciples of Osho. Few Sannyasins had dared to declare themselves enlightened, while Osho was alive. But they were fortunate enough to get Osho zen stick and few of them return back to disciplehood and started seeking again.

The real problem does not lie in the fact that some one is declaring himself enlightened. To call oneself enlightened is someone's personal freedom of expression. But the real problem starts when these so called enlightened people start exploiting and fooling people.

Seekers should listen to their voice before falling into such trap. Osho has said that your inner voice is also the voice of a Buddha. So trust it. Whenever I need any Guidance then I ask it directly from Osho or I listen to my inner voice. Master has only left the body but He has not left us unguarded. He is still there and guiding us. As per Osho, Master can work more when he is not in body. In the end, Always trust your inner voice no matter how much illogical or weird it may sound. Your inner voice is the voice of a Buddha.
